As his father sets up the boat, 7-year-old Wyatt Ellsworth tells me about all the fish he has caught in this lake. I normally wouldn’t trust a kid to tell me where the fish are, but it just so happens that I have caught a lot of pike on that shoreline – mostly hammer handles, but a few over 24 inches. And when it comes to fishing, Wyatt knows a thing or two.
